We invite you to participate in the 2017 North Carolina Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Annual Conference and Innovation Summit, hosted by the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at Wake Forest Biotech Place in Winston-Salem, NC.
This one-day event will include a keynote lecture from Dr. Pamela C. Yelick, Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Director of the Division of Craniofacial and Molecular Genetics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Yelick is a distinguished researcher and an internationally recognized leader in dental tissue engineering and craniofacial development.
The keynote lecture will be followed by a series of podium sessions, including invited presentations and selected presentations, from submitted abstracts and an all-day poster session. In addition, there will be opportunities for networking with colleagues and learning about products from local industry sponsors. Podium and poster presentations include topics in cell therapies, biomaterials enabling technologies, clinical translation and commercialization with presenters from local universities, industry and non-profit foundations. At the end of the meeting, awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place podium and poster presentations.
We are excited to host this annual meeting at Wake Forest Biotech Place, located in Winston- Salem, NC, a historic structure comprised of a former R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company warehouse and machine shop that has been renovated into modern biotech research laboratories and conference facilities. This distinctive building has the technological advances to inspire research and innovation as well as foster an atmosphere of collaboration and interaction.
